I am disappointed that the only time Canton, Ohio makes the broadcasted news is for a murder. Shame on Fox

CANTON, Ohio – Surveillance video from the BP Station at 12th Street and Market Avenue shows a silver Honda Accord pulling up to the front doors late Sunday.
The driver hurries out of the car and to the door of the station where employees say he told them he needed someone to call 911.
He then rushes out to the passenger side of the car, checking on a passenger before running away.
Canton Police Captain Dave Davis said when police arrived they found the passenger, identified as Anthony Moore, 17, of Canton, shot once in the head.
Davis told Fox 8 News that investigators believe the actual shooting happened several blocks away at the intersection of 9th Street Northwest and Shorb Avenue.
Residents in the area, who asked not to go on camera, believe they saw the same car make several passes up and down 9th Street before they heard between eight and 14 shots ring out, then the car sped away.
“We are still trying to investigate why something like this happened,” said Davis. “However, we do believe the shooting happened at 9th and Shorb Avenue, and the victim was subsequently driven to 12th and Market.”
A spokesperson for the Canton City Schools confirms that Moore was a sophomore at McKinley High School.
In a written statement, principal Dee Stokes-Davis said, “From my point of view, he was a good, rule-abiding student. Staff and students are extremely distraught over the current situation.”
Canton police said Moore was alive when he was taken from the scene to Aultman Hospital.
Late on Monday, Aultman Hospital confirmed Moore had died from his injuries.
The car has been impounded and police were hoping on Monday to be able to identify the driver and the person who fired the shots.
“Right now we are trying to continue our investigation into the vehicle’s owner as well as who was driving the car when this happened,” concluded Davis.
